This Acceptable Use Policy defines responsible usage requirements for SacoVPS VPS Hosting services and explains activities that may create security, network, legal, operational, or reputational risks.

SacoVPS VPS Hosting can support websites, applications, development environments, APIs, databases, automation, and many other legitimate workloads. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their VPS and content are used lawfully and responsibly.

Policy Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all VPS Hosting services, virtual servers, IP addresses, network resources, accounts, and related services provided by SacoVPS.

By using SacoVPS services, customers agree to operate their VPS in a manner that does not compromise network security, infrastructure stability, other customers, third parties, or applicable laws.

Network Abuse

SacoVPS network resources must not be used to intentionally disrupt, degrade, attack, overload, or interfere with networks, servers, systems, or services operated by SacoVPS or third parties.

DDoS Attacks Launching or participating in attacks designed to overwhelm systems or networks.
Traffic Abuse Generating malicious or intentionally disruptive traffic toward third-party systems.
Network Disruption Interfering with the normal operation of networks, infrastructure, or services.

Spam & Unsolicited Messaging

SacoVPS services must not be used to distribute unsolicited, deceptive, or abusive bulk communications.

  • Unsolicited bulk email or messaging.
  • Email campaigns involving purchased or harvested recipient lists.
  • Spam intended to promote websites, products, services, or links.
  • Mail bombing or deliberate delivery disruption.
  • Forged sender information or deceptive email headers.
  • Use of compromised systems to distribute unsolicited messages.

Legitimate transactional, operational, or permission-based communications should follow applicable laws and industry standards.

Phishing, Fraud & Deceptive Activity

VPS services may not be used to impersonate individuals, organizations, financial institutions, online platforms, service providers, or other entities for fraudulent or deceptive purposes.

Strictly Prohibited

Phishing pages, credential harvesting, fraudulent payment pages, fake login portals, identity impersonation, deceptive redirects, and infrastructure intended to facilitate fraud are prohibited.

Malware & Malicious Software

Customers must not use SacoVPS infrastructure to intentionally host, distribute, control, or deploy malicious software against systems without authorization.

  • Malware distribution.
  • Ransomware operations.
  • Trojan or malicious payload distribution.
  • Credential-stealing malware.
  • Botnet command infrastructure.
  • Malicious remote-access infrastructure.
  • Unauthorized persistence mechanisms.

Security research and malware analysis may be permitted when conducted in controlled environments and without unauthorized interaction with external systems.

Unauthorized Access

Customers may not use SacoVPS services to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, applications, networks, devices, or data.

  • Unauthorized access to third-party servers.
  • Password attacks against systems without permission.
  • Credential theft or credential stuffing.
  • Exploitation of systems without authorization.
  • Unauthorized account takeover.
  • Accessing or modifying data without permission.

Security testing should only be performed against systems for which the customer has explicit authorization.

Scanning, Exploitation & Attack Activity

Customers must not conduct automated or manual security testing against external systems without appropriate authorization.

Unauthorized Scanning Port or vulnerability scanning against third-party systems without permission.
Exploit Attempts Attempting to exploit vulnerabilities in systems without authorization.
Brute Force Repeated credential attacks against external services or accounts.
Attack Automation Automated infrastructure designed to target external systems.

Prohibited or Unlawful Content

Customers are responsible for all content hosted, transmitted, or distributed through their VPS.

Content that violates applicable law, infringes third-party rights, facilitates criminal activity, or creates serious security risks may result in service review or enforcement action.

  • Content that unlawfully infringes intellectual property rights.
  • Fraudulent or deceptive content.
  • Content used to facilitate criminal activity.
  • Malicious software or attack infrastructure.
  • Content prohibited by applicable law or court order.
  • Other content that creates material legal or infrastructure risk.

Resource & Infrastructure Abuse

Customers should use VPS resources in accordance with the specifications of their selected plan and must not intentionally interfere with shared network infrastructure or other services.

CPU Abuse Activities designed to continuously consume excessive resources outside normal workloads.
Network Abuse Traffic patterns that create significant operational or security concerns.
Storage Abuse Use of storage for prohibited content or activities that create infrastructure risk.
System Abuse Processes designed to interfere with platform stability or other services.

Resource concerns may be investigated when they materially affect infrastructure stability, network performance, or other customers.

Server Security Responsibilities

VPS customers are responsible for maintaining reasonable security controls over their virtual server and applications.

Keep Software Updated Apply operating system and application security updates when appropriate.
Protect Credentials Use strong passwords, secure keys, and appropriate access controls.
Monitor Activity Review logs and investigate suspicious activity involving your VPS.

If a VPS becomes compromised, customers should take reasonable steps to contain the issue and cooperate with relevant security investigations.

Policy Enforcement

When SacoVPS receives credible evidence of activity that violates this Acceptable Use Policy, the Terms of Service, applicable law, or creates a material security or operational risk, we may investigate the situation.

Investigation Relevant activity may be reviewed to understand the nature and scope of the issue.
Notification Customers may be contacted when circumstances allow and notification is appropriate.
Restriction Services may be restricted when necessary to protect infrastructure or third parties.
Suspension Serious or ongoing violations may result in service suspension.
Termination Severe violations may result in account or service termination.
Legal Action Matters may be referred to appropriate authorities when legally required.
